Words from Hope part one

No ways

Words and music : Petter N. Mortensen

Sitting cold and uneasy by the telephone.

Waiting for its hollow and lonely screaming tone,

to get me out of here, free me out from her,

to where I think I´ ll find it all.

The little plastic box, it do present it´s screams.

I carefully answer YES, with all my dreams.

But your voice is never there, you are never here

To where I wanna find it all.

The search for you goes on the best that I can do.

And heaven knows I´ ve found it all when I find you.

No ways but one, to find the way to you

But I will go on searching for it.

Though my days are soon gone, I still believe it's true

So, I will carefully seek my way there.

Staring red eyed out the window, no one's there.

Turn the tv on, but no one seems to care,

about a restless heart, MY restless heart,

unless I wanna buy their talk.

There´ s an emptiness that eats me from inside.

I try to fool my way around, try to hide.

But there´s nowhere to go, there´s no signs that shows,

me how to find you easily.

The search for you goes on the best that I can do.

And heaven knows I´ve found it all when I find you.

Mingle

Words and music : Einar Langseth

Wrong is wrong, and right is right.

Good is good, and bad can only be bad.

In is in and out is out

A narrow road can never be strait and wide.

And I said:

I´ m not gonna let them mingle.

Said I never gonna let them mingle.

But as time goes, I see shadows.

I´ m not gonna let them mingle no.

Said I never gonna let them mingle.

But as time goes, I see shadows.

Black is black, and white is white.

Up is up, and down can only go down.

It was clear no shades of grey,

messed up the way.

That was how it used to be.

And I said:

I´ m not gonna let them mingle.

Said I never gonna let them mingle.

But as time goes, I see shadows-

I´ m not gonna let them mingle no.

Said I never gonna let them mingle.

But as time goes, I see shadows.

Oh Lord

Words and music : Petter N. Mortensen

Summer´s over.

I´ m all alone, without nowhere to go.

Feeling older,

As the days go by, and you, you are gone.

Where are you now?

I wanna know how, I can find you,

and feel your love again.

Oh Lord I stand here waiting,

Not knowing what will come.

I don´t know what it is,

That has kept me on the run.

away from you.

Summers over.

I´ m back again, to where I´ ve started from.

Feeling colder,

as the train for nowhere, stops to take me on.

Where are you now?

I wanna know how, I can find you,

And feel you´re love again.

Oh Lord I stand here waiting,

Not knowing what will come.

I don´t know what it is,

That has kept me on the run.

away from you.

Time passes by. My hope tends to die.

As I go on and on, searching for

A light to take me high.

Oh I say Lord! I stand here waiting,

Not knowing what will come.

I don´t know what it is,

that has kept me on the run.

Oh Lord I stand here begging,

Won´t you help me find the way.

The way that leads me back again

to the place I want to stay, I love to stay.

Bleeding obvious

Words and music: Einar Langseth

The cover looked good,

As hipp as it could.

The name rang a bell,

all said it would sell millions.

My hopes were high,

And the money gone.

When I picked it up,

and put the music on.

I was excited,

so full of expectations.

Sat down and played it,

song by song by song by song.

A perfect wrapping

Feet are tapping.

But it ain´t going nowhere.

Repeating the bleeding obvious yeah.

A dime, a dozen,

´cause it wasn´t more to be found anywhere.

But repeating the bleeding obvious.

His message to the world summed up,

would sound something like this. Full stop.

"I met this sexy lady, a dynamite baby.

She spun her love around me and woke the beast inside me.

She is the hottest babe ever, the hottest babe anywhere.

Oh, my sugar sweet honey, we had some sexy sex yeah….

The sexiest sex yet

We sexed it up to max, maximising the sexual act."

A perfect wrapping

Feet are tapping.

But it ain´t going nowhere.

Repeating the bleeding obvious yeah.

A dime, a dozen,

´cause it wasn´t more to be found anywhere.

But repeating the bleeding obvious.
